North Shore Community Foundation was built for this! We operate with one goal - to unleash community giving across Vancouver’s North Shore in support of community organizations, individuals and groups working to ensure our communities are forward-thinking, innovative, and inclusive addressing community needs.

At NSCF, we:

• Are a local organization. Our staff, Board, and committee members have knowledge, experience and expertise about the issues and needs of Waterloo Region.

• Offer a variety of giving options that meet your personal and financial goals. We understand that some donors want to make an immediate impact, others want to create a legacy with enduring gives through a legacy, while others want to do both!  

• Provide highly personalized services tailored to every donor’s charitable interests and values and partner with professional advisors to create highly effective approaches to charitable giving.

• Highlight charities and programs that need support through granting and provide opportunities for donors to connect with charities and see the impact of your grants.

• Understand areas in the community requiring attention and work to recognize the dynamic priorities and how new granting options can support transformational projects.

• Take a long-term view with our investments, working with industry professionals to managed investments that deliver results ensuring grants are always available to support the community. 

• Act as a community catalyst we bring people and organizations together to address local issues and opportunities and then collaborate on solutions
