In 2024 we took part in delivering the Community Prosperity Fund a $25 million investment from the Government of B.C. that advances poverty reduction and social inclusion in local communities.
The initiative recognized how non-profits are vital to people and communities in B.C. The program supports organizations with funding for up to three years to drive positive change in our communities. North Shore Community Foundation was assigned $715,000 for granting in North Vancouver.
North Shore Community Foundation received over forty applications from across North Vancouver for a range of initiatives working to address poverty, support vulnerable members of our community, along with strengthening a sense of belonging.
Thank you to all the applicants and program operators across the North Shore.
