ABOUT

THE NORTH SHORE COMMUNITY

FOUNDATION GOLF TOURNAMENT

The North Shore Community Foundation's Golf Tournament is now in its 19th year.

The tournament is endorsed by our North Vancouver Mayors and managed by the North Shore Community Foundation and a group of dedicated volunteers. The strong support of our sponsors has made the event a great success.

Our accomplishments are made possible through the collaboration of our Mayors, the business community and the North Shore Community Foundation. In eighteen  years, this tournament has raised over $2 million, with $1,000,000 supporting more than 20 selected designated beneficiaries for high impact initiatives.

Another  $1,000,000 has been contributed to the NSCF  Community Fund . This permanent fund  contributes to the annual community grants program.

It is like getting an eagle on every hole!

Why Golf in this tournament? It is one of the best in BC!

Founded in 1953, Seymour Golf and Country Club is one of the tow 25 in the province. The Club's course is renowned for the tight, tree-lined fairways and small, fast greens.  The tournament includes on course hospitality, dinner, and a live auction.

Land Acknowledgement

The North Shore Community Foundation humbly recognizes that we operate on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Squamish Nation (Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw) and Tsleil-Waututh Nation (səlilwətaɬ).  We pay our respects and extend our gratitude to the Indigenous peoples who have stewarded these lands through generations. We are dedicated to creating community impact and nurturing relationships that contribute to meaningful Reconciliation.

We pledge to collaborate with Indigenous communities to build a future that honours and commemorates their history, culture, and contributions. Our initiatives are designed to create a lasting influence that fosters Reconciliation and fortifies the ties within our collective community.
