The North Shore Community Foundations mission is to accumulate and responsibly administer permanent capital that generates income to fund social, cultural, recreational and educational initiatives that directly benefit the residents of the North Shore, and that is just what they did through the various grants they awarded at the 2019 Grant Ceremony. Held at the Polygon Gallery on November 28th, 2019 with delicious food catered by HAVE cafe and a special performance from Sweet Scarlet made the evening a special night for many people.
With over 30 years of experience, the North Shore Community Foundation has the talent, resources, and capital to make a difference with money.
Congratulations To The Following Grant Recipients:
Each year the Foundation organizes a golf tournament, in collaboration with the mayors of the City of North Vancouver and the District of North Vancouver. A portion of the funds raised is given to a designated North Shore charity. Additionally, some of the funds raised each year also go towards augmenting the capital in the Mayors’ Community Trust Fund. For the first time ever, we decided to split the grant money and award it to well-deserving charities.
