s Granting Process

The Granting process is a major part of the foundation’s business. The foundation receives requests for grants from a wide range of non-profit and educational organizations within our geographic area. The NSCF Grants are managed by a Committee made up of members of the Board of Directors and by volunteers from a cross section of the community. The Board of Directors approves the recommended grants.

Grant Applicants or Payees must:
Conform to Canada Revenue Agency requirements: they must be a federally registered charitable organization in good standing, or an educational institution or a governmental agency. Grants are not considered for ongoing operational costs. Applicants are encouraged to apply for project or program type funding.
